Designer Wedding Dress Auction

This is a unique event coming up at Hardwick Hall Hotel, Sedgefield on Sunday 30th October 2011 - 10.00am to 4.00pm

This wedding event will give you the opportunity to view, try on and buy on the day. Everything from Wedding Dresses, Mother of the Bride outfits, Bridesmaid Dresses, Shoes and accessories. A professional catwalk show will highlight some of the fabulous designer dresses on offer.

There will also be a number of local wedding suppliers available on the day to give their expert advice.

The event is being run by the Great North Air Ambulance Service and all proceeds will go to this very worthy cause.

Mini, not meal – Small bites instead of full meals,. Cupcakes instead of 3/4 Tier Wedding Cakes : Caterers all over are reporting that rather than serve a large, sit-down meal, they're getting requests for hors d'oeuvres. Even Kate & Will went little.

A replica of Kate Middleton, The Duchess of Cambridge's Alexander McQueen wedding dress was made within 24 hours of the royal wedding. A copy of the gown was made by bridal designer Mary- Rose McGrath. The cost of the original dress by Sarah Burton at Alexander McQueen is estimated at £250,000. Kate’s beautiful wedding dress was compared to the one worn by Grace Kelly on her wedding day.

Anthony Davison - Award Winning Guitarist

Anthony is a full time guitarist and teacher with over 20 years experience in both fields. He holds diplomas in both Electric and Classical Guitar performance. Attending the London Guitar Institute, “Europe's Finest School of Modern Music” in 1995, he received regular lessons from some of the most respected players and teachers in the world including Dave Kilminster, “Big” Jim Sullivan, Shawn Baxter and Iain Scott, who was himself taught directly by Frank Gambale.

In 2005 he began studying Classical Guitar with BBC Choir of the Year Conductor John Forsyth, who was himself a student of both Julian Bream and John Williams; two of the most important guitarists of the 20th Century.
